A little catch up.

I set a goal to blog every day in December, I thought it would be a great way to really savor the Holiday season, and a good reminder of how many things I've been blessed with...but apparently I wasn't blessed with a real desire to achieve my goals because here it's December 2nd, and I've already ruined my big plans.

Oh well.

That being said, I'll play a little catch up. Thanksgiving was fabulous. We made the trek to Tree town this year with the Kidmans and I left my camera here....so I got nothing to share, except my picture of the rolls I was in charge of.

I know, they are beautiful. I mean, I don't want to brag (I only say that when I truly do want to brag), but they were delish. It was a great day and another year for us to realize how much we have to be grateful for.

My pops had a Birthday and we talked him into lunching with us and going to see Tangled afterward. (Tangled, IMO, is just about the cutest movie ever. And the Birthday boy may have cried a little). The restaurant brought pops a cake and ice cream for his Birthday, and can you guess who instantly became his best friend?

Yes. Of course, Sienna.

Then Adyson and her bff Lexi joined in, and they all were happy.
The ladies also decorated the downstairs tree. The downstairs tree is a mish mosh of ornaments, and every single one they've ever made. I wouldn't call it ugly....but maybe I will admit it can only be pretty to a family who gets what all the ornaments are about. The girls though, well they kept sayings things like "This tree is sooo much better then the upstairs tree because everything is different." And "The ornaments upstairs are all the same and so blah.." It made T and I just smile.

I let them do whatever they wanted to the downstairs tree, and am doing my darndest not to change the ornaments around. Sienna really, really loved the bottom of the tree.
We made a trip to the dentist. No cavities. Amen.

And my neighbor and very talented friend made the girl these darling headbands. She sells them here if you are in need...we love them!
And tomorrow we are hosting an ice cream goodbye party for one of the girls friends who is moving away and I made these darling cupcakes. I just had to share cause I think they turned out so cute!
I'm all caught up now, that's all I got. I'm gonna really try to capture everything for the next month. Really, I'm gonna start trying tomorrow.

Those cupcakes are darling! You are truly talented friend :) And I have no doubt that those rolls tasted every bit as delicious as they looked! I have always adored the fact that Mike is as tender as my dad-love, love, love those men in our lives.

Love the cupcakes! Lexi is so excited for the party but so sad that it means Brooklyn is leavning. I love the pic of Lexi eating the ice cream. She looks slightly crazy.

I need to get a kid tree when we finish the basement. Mine looks so kid decorated, it's ridiculous :)

Your rolls look divine. Almost divine enough to make me pull out the yeast and make my own right this second.

Your girls are lovely. I love their headbands.

We LOVED Tangled. I confess, I got a bit teary eyed at the end too.
