Hello Santa

Friday night Cody and Amy had the bright idea to take the kids to see Santa at the AWESOME mall. The girls were jumping for joy and spilling over with excitement.

Here's how it all went down.

Adyson climbed right up and put on her best "I'm an angel" face. She batted her lashes, and smiled her sweetest smile, and then before she got a chance to ask for anything, Sienna had to get in on the action.

She interruppted by getting on his lap, and then right away said "I want a Tinkerbell". To which Santa replied, "Jingle Bells?".

Don't worry, she got the message through, and hopefully Santa will deliver.

Adyson finally got her turn, and asked for a Peek-a-boo dollhouse, and told Santa she's been good all year. Um, yeah. Lets just say that Adyson has had a rough couple of weeks. She has been overly tired, overly dramatic, and just downright naughty. She will have a really good week, and then finish it off by being a little stinker. I find myself wondering if we have spoiled her rotten, or if this is just a 4 year old stage. (Please tell me it's the latter....)

So the day after Thanksgiving, we made a "Naughty chart". We told her whenever she gets all diva on us, she will get a stamp on her chart, and when she hits 10, we will call Santa and tell him how bad she has been.

It has worked wonders, and she only has 1 stamp so far.

I love Santa. He makes my kids behave!

And Sienna has been singing "Tinkerbell" to the tune of "Jingle Bells" all day.

And lastly, the Santa at the CVM is quite possibly the best Santa I've ever seen. He looks perfect, he has the voice, he has the laugh, and even the perfect rosy cheeks. In case you were wondering...

Hay...oh my...I'm gonna have a smile on my face all day thanks to this great story. I absolutely love the fact that you have a naughty chart & that it's working. Oh and I really like the way you explain that if she... "gets all diva on us" she gets the stamp. The Kidman parents RoCK!

He looks like a good santa we'll have to take the boys over. Your girls are so cute sitting up on his lap! Ashton has been having a hard time lately too! I am fighting the same battles minus the diva part, We'll have to give the Naughty Chart a try, sounds like a great Idea!!! I love playing the Santa Card, and whats better then having a even more effective way to play it!

The Christmas season seems to get into the kids! My kids have been on one too and yesterday in Primary all the kids were off the wall! So it isn't just you. We keep reminding Lex and Ray that the elves are watching. I need to take my kids to see Santa. They are dying to go!

Santa doesn't work with Taegen yet, he just doesn't get it. Did you ever get my message I left on your phone?

The Logan Mall really does have a great looking Santa. It is rediculous ... the ones out here, won't allow you to take your own picture. They want you to buy their picture packages starting at $25. What are things coming too? Everything used to be so simple.

I bet your little girlies are so much this time of year!!
