My little Helper

The other day while I was cleaning the house, Adyson asked if she could help. She said she really wanted a job to do....
And who am I to stand in the way of her dreams?
I decided to let her dust the baseboards in the hallway. So she did, and then asked for more. So I let her do the front room, and then she wanted more....
She ended up dusting the entire house. (At least everything she could reach.) And when she was done, and there was nothing left for her to dust, she was totally bummed.
It was a huge help, and I'm hoping that she will want to do it again!
Goodness my kid is getting so big!
Let's dissect this picture, Trav laying on the couch, Cafe Rio Dr. Pepper for Trav on the bar (I'm keeping it real folks.)

Grady used to want to help...if you could call it that. It must be a girl thing. I'm glad you always keep it real! Love ya bunches!

She needs to come to my house now and do mine. Too bad I live forever away! How nice to have that extra help.

Like mother, like daughter. You are the best example to her!

She must have worked at Icon in the past, but she/we work at Thermo Scientific, formely known as HyClone. Love it!!

Man, I miss her! Enjoy the whole cleaning thing while it lasts. If you run out of stuff, there's plenty dirty baseboards out here! (hint, hint!)

A girl who can be a diva while she is cleaning dirt is a keeper. Look at that pose!

I'll take one of her!!! She is such a big helper! My boys want to help but it usually results in a worse mess then I started with! I'm not suprised that she likes to clean, your house is always so clean!!!

Okay, please don't tell me that you wash your baseboards EVERY Friday...that would just put us all to shame!

That is so cute! Hopefully she continues that sort of helpfull cleaning well into her teen years. Pretty little balerina. Thats exciting Adyson had such a great first experience. I definitly think Sienna fully appreciated all that cupcake had to offer. My niece Chloe had a very similar reaction.

Hayley you crack me up- I love the Cafe Rio and Trav laying on the couch comment! I can't wait to have a little girl clean my house one day, especially the baseboards-that is one of my least favorite things to do!

Hayley,

can you post your crockpot white chicken chili recipe on your recipe blog for me?

You really do have it all :) What more could you ask for than a someone that enjoys cleaning baseboards for you?! It's much easier for her to get down there too I would imagine.
