Notice that there aren't any kids in these pics?
What started out by helping the kids, turned into an all out competition between Grandpa, Travis, and I. Cause that's how we roll.
See, we even got Enna all stripped down for the main event..so as not to ruin her cute shirt.
Don't worry too much about the kids though, Grandma was buys stuffing them full of donuts and Halloween candy....too much Halloween candy!
The smack talk was ugly.
Travis (who took Forfreakin'ever to carve his pumpkin), kept saying it was taking so long because there was 18 letters in the word SPOOKY. Count em' T. There is only 6.
Dad (who tells the same joke over, and over, and over), kept saying that his pumpkin wouldn't be done till Thanksgiving.
It was funny the first time. Not so much the 2nd or 3rd...and so on.
He also teased me that my skeleton skull wasn't quite round enough. Whatevs, I think it is awesome. He's just jealous.
We really did have good intentions of letting the kids have a go and the pumpkins. Here's proof....
And since we are on the subject of Sienna...Amy has decided that she looks a lot like the beautiful Michelle Williams...I totally agree. Thoughts?
I think the Skeletons the best...I'm just gonna throw that out there. You agree...right?
And the final products, all lit up in glory.
I think the Skeletons the best...I'm just gonna throw that out there. You agree...right?
And here's one of the ladies. They are more than excited for the pumpkin walk tonight. Adyson has been asking since 8 this morning if it is time to go yet. (It's been a long day...)

adyson looks just like breje in this picture.
those are pretty much the best carved Halloween pumpkins I have ever seen and that skeleton is amazing.
You totally need to bring those pumkins to the Halloween Carnival! Period!
K. And those have got to be ETSY hats! ? Way too cute for words.
You guys have the skillz.
Odd how their are 18 letters in the work spooky, which turned out to be the word creepy! Am I missing something?
Enjoy my mom's awesome presidential scene at the PW.
I am amazed at the skills! No wonder these took forever!
Definately the skeleton is the BEST!
LOVE the pumpkins? ARe you planning on entering them into the pumpkin contest tomorrow?
I agree the skeleton is the best. Thoose are some awesome pumpkins I am glad I am not your neighbor and have to have our sad pumpkins compared to those. The pumpkin walk was so good this year.
Yes Sienna does look like Michelle Williams! Cute pics; your pumpkins look awesome :)
Wow...you guys are serious. Do you use a dremel tool? Those pumpkins would knock the socks off of any ol' pumpkin walk.
And then about the beanies...I'm in love with them. I hope you're gonna tell me that they were handcrafted so I can buy them for Christmas gifts...just say yes. hand crafted in an assembly line in China doesn't count...
The hats ladies, are from Ross dress for less.
I dig that store.
They still have some.
And 2 of them will be in the contest. Vote for us!
They are having a halloween pumpkin contest at my work. Let me borrow the skeleton and I'll split the pot with you.
Your pumpkins put ours to shame . . . I'm not so sure I will even post them now :)
Those are some pretty awesome pumpkins! That Skeleton was impressive! Your girls are just too cute!!!
I love them! yea, the skeleton is pretty good. I wish I could carve a pumpkin, but I would have no where to put it in my little apartment that is on the 5th floor and doesn't even have an outside porch. It's like living in a hotel (seriously, they even serve free breakfast on Saturdays) Anyway, I hope you had fun at the pumpkin walk! Also, Sienna does have a Michelle Williams look!
WOW - great job on the pumpkins! Want to come help me out? I always start out with big ideas and then end up getting impatient. Usually resulting in something bad, like a caved in pumpkin :(
I just LOVE fall holidays! SO much fun to do! love the pumpkins, you guys sound like STeve and I always competing! I let him win this year:) Love the pic. of your beautiful girls!
Those are some great looking pumpkins. I've got three untouched ones sitting on my porch. You've just motivated me to go do something with them! I love that last picture of your girls in their cute hats.
I think those pumpkins are AMAZING. I have ZERO patience when it comes to carving those, and fear that I'll lose a finger, so you'll just see plain old pumpkins on my step. Way to go, Michaelangelo!
love the hats!!! a little adult competition never hurts anyone (LOL) :O)
Okay...totally random because I don't know you but I've "stalked" your blog through Adam & Brooke Bagley who I'm good friends with. Your family is SUPER cute and you are so creative! Just one question: What program do you use for your photo editing? I love how you always add words, phrases and such cute borders. Share, share, share...THanks!
Wow, masterpiece pumpkins, I agree, I may not post ours now...:) And I think Sienna is WAY cuter than Michelle Williams.
Skeleton, hands down!
Your posts always make me laugh and your girls look adorable in those hats. I think I'll just have to make a little trip to Ross tomorrow.
I love your pumpkins, they are awesome. So creative. No Allie is not being a cowgirl she is being a princess (of course) Belle.
Those are awesome pumpkins!! I love your girls hats!! So cute, where did you get them??
Where to start?! LOVE Dad's silly grin ... and yours... and Trav's! I was totally jealous, but your awesome post makes me feel like I was there. I'm pretty sure I just accurately recreated the entire conversation in my head.
Yes, Michelle Williams only much much prettier!
Those hats! Want to pick one up for your favorite neice? Just lovely!
