A great day

Today Trav took the day off and we went to the Zoo. We went this same weekend last year and it is beginning to be a great tradition for the fam. It turned out to be a great day! The weather wasn't too hot, all the animals were out and about, and it wasn't too crowded.
The girls loved the zoo, but I think they loved having the whole day to spend with daddy. It's almost embarrassing how much they prefer him over me...I love this picture. The girls are really bonding together and have a really beautiful friendship. They were swinging like monkeys while we were waiting for that super awesome train ride.
And speaking of the super awesome train ride...Here we are. I believe this was their favorite part of the whole day. And it was a buck, and if you haven't ridden the train, I will let you know that it is only worth a buck. But they loved it-so whatever.
Daddy and Sienna.
Mom and Adyson
After the zoo we went to lunch and then took the girls to temple square. We weren't sure if they would really enjoy it, but we really underestimated them. Adyson was in awe of the flowers, and it didn't hurt that we saw 5 beautiful brides there. Sienna just loves being outside and was loving roaming free! While we were there we went into the visitor center and walked around and looked at all the beautiful paintings. I loved listening to Adyson tell us about them, and it was beautiful to find a little peace during the craziness of the day. It was great to just spend the day together, but we are all exhausted now, and ready for a relaxing weekend.

I LOVE hogle zoo. My kids always have so much fun as well and Dax just wants to ride that darn train the WHOLE time. I think we rode it four times for him last time. Thats why Willow park zoo is just "not that cool" without a train! It looks like you had a great family day! I love the pic. of you on the train, you look so beautiful! You guys are such a cute family. I love that you went to temple square, I need to take my kids there. They have only been to the Logan temple and love it there. p.s. my kids ALWAYS like daddy better, at least yours was just for the day.

The blonde. Let's discuss it.

I got bored on Memorial day and colored it by myself. (a first for me.)

I don't love it.

What a fun family day trip! Don't you love having a hubby your daughters adore. I too wonder why my girls prefer daddy, but it is the sweetest ever! I guess our girls see why we married them!

I love going to Hogle Zoo! We should try to take all the kids at the same time sometime. Those are such cute pics of the girls! I'm so glad they are already such good friends!

Hogle zoo is the best, especially when the weather is a bit cooler - I think the animals like it better too 'cause they seem to be more social. We love to go in October. In the middle of the week it is fairly empty. Way to go on getting a family shot. They are the hardest, but always the most treasured.

PS - cancer is a great reason for not getting your garden in. Hey, if you want your garden tilled, let me know!

Whatever, the train it totally worth a dollar! I'd dare pay $2. The kids are contained, shaded, and happy all while you get to sit too. For what? 10 minutes? You can't buy that! Oh, except you can. At Hogle Zoo.

I've never told you this, But I think that you and Travis look SO much alike!!
My sister always said that if a couple looked alike or had the same chin and nose then they'd be the perfect couple!!
Thats YOU TWO!! You totally look alike, so I can't say who your girls look like cause I"ve never seen a couple that looks more alike than you!!
call me crazy, but hey thats what I see!! :)

It looks like you guys had lots of fun!! Your girls are so big, and adorable! The hearts are easy.. you just type -♥- where you want one, but without the dash in front and back(I had to put the dashes in or it would have done the heart) I hope that makes sense!!

Don't you just love the Zoo?! It's nice because I only live 15 minutes away from one and Ellie is starting to actually notice the animals which makes it fun. I really like your hair by the way, you look great no matter what color it is!
