I've been feeling a little guilty because so many of you have posted darling pictures of your cute little Sunbeams first day. They are all in their finest churchwear. Their hair is done perfectly. They are grinning from ear to ear with pride and excitement.
I forgot to take that picture.
Don't confuse this with me not being a proud mother. I was pleased as punch that Adyson went to primary. I got the scoop from her teachers and a few spy's that she sat very quietly, grinning from ear to ear. She mentioned how much she enjoyed singing "Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam." And her teacher helped her make a crown with glitter on it. What a kid huh?
I may have forgotten to take this picture because of the sheer excitement I felt about going to church on Sunday. You see, I have been in the nursery for a long time. Much, much to long indeed. This Sunday was my first day of being released. I couldn't wait to sit in Releif Society and have a REAL lesson. And I was not dissapointed. From start to finish my heart was full. The lesson was called "that they might have joy." I feel as though it was prepared for my sake only. She spoke of finding happiness despite the circumstances you are in. (fitting for me, right?) The spirit was strong-and I reveled in it.
I was able to enjoy this meeting to the fullest because Sienna went to nursery all by herself for the first time. She too, enjoyed her new found freedom to the fullest.
So here is a darling picture of my glowing Sunbeam...in her pajamas. She did look awfully pretty in her dress though! Featured in the top photo is the glittered primary made crown. At least I got a picture of that right!

I didn't take the picture either! Don't feel bad (and I won't either). I swear every princess item your kids own, we own too! I think Hallie has those same jammies. :)
I was just gonna ask you how she did in primary, but this was more fun! Thanks for making my blog pretty!
You should be such a proud mom! I'm glad you enjoyed church. I still don't know what that is like! Simon won't let us enjoy it yet...hopefully soon! Isn't it amazing that sometimes the lesson feels like it is just for you. I once even looked around the room to see if someone was playing a joke on me because a lesson fit into my life right when I needed it!
Our days sound very similar! I didn't get to go to Relief Society but I did get to listen to the YW lesson instead of teach it which I will take any day! Your girls are darling!
I'm glad that you enjoyed yourself... you deserve it!!!
Your kids are darling by the way. :)
don't feel bad, I didn't even think about taking a picture either. Katelyn sure did look cute and even sat in her chair the whole time and I sit with my class on the row behind her so I was worried she would want to sit by me. I'm glad you had to chance to go to RS it helps to feel the spirit.
It's easy to forget how nice it is to sit through a lesson, especially Releif Society! I forgot when Macy was little and I forgot again with Polly.
I'm glad Ady went willingly. Rayden wouldn't let go of my leg! He didn't want to go at all. Finally he sat by Jett and calmed down. When he saw me in the hall later he once again latched onto my leg! I also didn't get a picture or even think about it.
That's exciting you were able to enjoy the lesson. I can't wait until Dallin can go to nursery. ps Simon is adorable!
Well, we didnt even get to take Dax to his first day of primary because we all have the croupe at our house! IT has NOT been fun! SO hopefully all of these cute pictures on everyones blogs will remind me this Sunday to take one of Dax. Except it is just not as fun, when he does not have a cute frilly dress to wear. Oh well, a handsome tie will have to do! How are you by the way, I missed ya at bunco!?
Hi, Love ya honey - Trav
