Road Trippin'

Heather and Jody have a very broken computer, and were in desperate need for my super smart man to fix it for them. Being that Heather is the best soccer mom alive, they haven't been here in a while, and probably wont be coming any time soon. (Track, soccer, violin, piano, and football=they have No time.) So my mom and I offered to meet them 1/2 way in the beautiful town of Burley.
I told the girls it would be a very long drive just to see their cousins for an hour, but they were both so excited that Adyson woke up extra early, walked into my room and said "Let's go!" And a few hours later we were off.

Here is the conversation when we hit Tremonton.
Ady-Mom, are we almost there.
Me-No, remember it's a really long drive.
Ady-I'm Car sick though.
Me-What do you mean?
Ady-Mom, it means I'm sick of the car.

We laughed about that!
But a little AbbA (actually a lot of AbbA, they listened to it the whole way there and back), cured the car sickness, and they started enjoying the ride. Notice the hand holding, it melted my heart.

Us lunching. We don't need to discuss my terribly unflattering picture. (I only have 1 chin. really.)Tray and Kutter. Oh, I miss those boys already!

Oh sweet Brielle. This girl just smiles and runs. She is all dimples! I just love her and hated having to let her go!

Adyson had a great time with the kids, and was thrilled to see them, but not so thrilled to come home. And stayed awake by singing her words to AbbA songs.

You know this version.

Money, Money, Money, ain't it funny...

She sings

Monday, Monday, Monday, ain't it Funday.

Me and my mom were laughing so hard we were tearing up a bit.Sienna fell asleep in downtown Logan. You know, when we had 10 minutes left on our drive. Of course.

It was great to see you guys the other day, we miss you and hope when all your hoop-la calmes down we can see you for more then an hour, but hey-we'll take what we can get!

I'm smiling all over again thinking about how great it was to see you guys! Your girls couldn't be sweeter. Thanks for going to all that trouble for us.

Sounds like a fun trip. A couple months ago we went a Mcdonalds in Burley and the kids loved it and I may be making this up, but I swear we were listening to Money, Money as we pulled into the Mcdonalds so that is funny.

Ahhhh Burley.... my home town, well almost(Albion)
But from the pictures I would guess you lunched at a certain Mexican returant???? I love to hear that the ladies share in the love for AbbA.

Now you know the long boring drive we take to see Matt's family. I was going to write the same thing Mindy wrote. It looks like Guadalajara. Oh Burley. I love Adyson's glasses.

Do you know how freakin' cute your girls are??? Seriously!!! Do you?

Cute pics as usual. I LOVE the Shake Shake video clip. They are so funny. It almost makes me want to give Cate a sister. Her brothers are in a whole different world. Heather looks EXACTLY like my cousin Andrea, they could literally be identical twins. I was certain it had to be her in fact when I first glanced at your family's cute picture. I'll have to show you a pic of my cousin.
I really am goin to return your China book to you someday, I think I may just go and buy it. I'm pretty much converted to vegetarianism, but Meat is hard to give up. We need to chat about recipes.

Funny! You and I are so much alike. Except I'm old enough to be your grandma. I hate being the first to comment too! We spend entirely too much time on the computer. Well, I do. And thanks for missing me!

And thanks for blocking me from "Just for Hayley." When did you start that?

road trips are sooo much fun! I had to laugh when I read your comment on my blog, I should have clarified....my FALL stuff has been out for a couple weeks too, but I just put out Halloween this weekend, like my creepy lanterns and pumpkins and spider webs, that's what Chris was making fun of me for......personally, I would have put up my Halloween stuff 2 weeks ago too if my husband wouldn't have made fun of me :O)

How fun. I love road trips, and can't wait for the day that the kids really enjoy them too. They like them for like... 5 minutes. We're going to have to take them on a few warm up drives before our BIG road trip to CA in January.
I love Sienna's hair straight. I also love the pouty face. She's going to love her hair when she gets big (or else really hate it.) Good thing she has a hair mom!

I am glad for your sake to see Sienna in a booster. Makes buckling and unbuckling so much easier, not to mention moving car seats. I let Polly try out Macy's a few times, but she has way to much fun unbuckling the seatbelt. She is a rascal!!

I love that picture of your girls holding hands. IT's so precious! Oh. And do you possibly have grandma's pumpkin roll recipe? I've got a craving!

So, I don't know what you are talking about!!! You do not have a double chin in that picture, you are as beautiful as ever. Also, I have not seen Heather for a very long time, she looks great! You both have such cute families! And in Sienna's defense, I make up words to songs all the time, it is fun to sing along even when you don't know all of the words ;)
