Our weekend

Oh how fun it is to have a sick 2 year old. (Yes, this is sarcasm.) Sienna has been a BEAR for the last couple of days. After throwing up and being fevered for 3 days in a row, I broke down and took her to the doctor. She had lost a little over a pound, but still seemed to be hydrated, so he told me to go home and keep giving her gatorade for the day in very small doses. He said if she still was throwing up the next day we would have to put her in the hospital. So we came home and I just crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. I was pretty worried, but after a few hours she started holding it in, and hasn't thrown up since. Now we are just dealing with her being about the grumpiest she has ever been, (I MISS MY HAPPY GIRL!) And I wont go into details, but her diapers have been less than fun to change. Surprisingly, I am still pretty happy being a stay at home mom, so I MUST love these kids of mine!
Here she is passed out on the couch, she must have been completely exhausted!
Thank goodness Adyson hasn't got this...yet. If she does, I may hire a nanny and find me a full time job.

We were lucky enough to get a night out and go to the Aggie game with some of our friends from our ward this weekend. (Thanks Mont and Mindi!) It was such a fun night, and once again, I am so thankful that we live here. We live by some pretty great people! It as great that Travis is still feeling pretty good so he could really enjoy the game. If you were at the game, he was that really loud annoying guy yelling at the refs. :)

Today was Padin's Birthday, and it was so fun to go see them. He is such a cute kid and just as laid back as they come. He didn't really want presents, he just needed a cake from grandma and he had to have hot wings for his dinner. Yes, hot wings! It cracked me up that my 4 year old nephew has a hot wing addiction! It was great to see you guys, and Happy Birthday Padin!

Padin eating his hot wings! He was happy.

She looks just like Brielle did. There's hope, though -- my little one was finally acting like herself tonight!
I love that Padin craves hotwings -- my kids are not the only ones with weird favs!

I am so sad that Sienna has been so sick. Don't you love being quarantined in the house for a week. When you finally get out, it's like you are from another planet. I must say, Sienna is still really cute when she is sick.

Poor little girl. Don't you think You should be able to call in sick once in a while? I try it with Scott every so often, it hasn't worked yet.

I noticed Sienna's blankets because they are the same Polly is attatched to, and I mean ATTATCHED. I'm going to post about it soon.

Even when she feels her worst she still is amazingly beautiful!! Is it weird to be jealous of a 2 year old? :) I hope she is feeling better! Simon is missing his "punching bag". :) Padin cracks me up! I can't even handle hot wings!

Yeah! I am so glad she's feeling better. I'm glad she didn't have to go to the hospital, that's the last thing you guys need. I'll be hoping and wishing with you that Ady doesn't get the YUCK! Hopefully we'll see you soon.

You are a much more patient mom than I am. I feel bad when my kids are sick, but I am terrible at just sitting and relaxing with them. I start to go crazy after a day of that, so kudos to you and your positive outlook. That's one of the things I have always loved about you!
