Our Weekend

This weekend we got a nice little visit from Heather and Jody and the kids. It has been pure heaven for me to get to see them, and I am a bit sad that this weekend is over. We miss you guys already....Here are some highlights.
We got to see this one (Brielle) crawl. Aren't her blue eyes just too perfect?
Adyson was pretty excited to wear her Christmas dress to church today, and I finally remembered to take a pic of my sunbeam. Note: I promise there is a jacket to this dress and we don't normally send her to church with bare shoulders in the winter!
Trayson got to spend a bit of chillin' time with Travis. These two get along beautifully!
They have decided that Trav is to be called "big T" and Tray is to be called
"little T."
Great Gram
was able to come over and spend some time with the Great Grandkids. They just love her.Sienna was just as happy as can be. She loves to be around all the kids and just adores baby Brielle.

Adyson and Kutter are inseperable. They get together and we pretty much don't see them for the rest of the day. Today they spent hours playing hide and seek. They mostly hid in about two places, but they made it work.

The best part of this weekend was that Travis has felt pretty good. (He started treatments again on Thursday.) Usually Saturdays he is pretty miserable and we stay home and he relaxes for most of the day. This Saturday he felt almost normal, though his throat hurt just a little. I watched him devour the largest Cheeseburger ever and we caught a movie with the kids. It was so wonderful to have a pretty great weekend as a family! Tonight he is starting to feel a bit lousy, but hopefully it wont get too bad. There you go, that is what we have been up to. I hope you all had a great weekend too!

I just noticed that I don't have any pictures of Breezy. I wish I did so I could show you all how stinkin' beautiful this kid is! She has grown up to be such a delight and so much fun! It is great having her be old enough to have girl chat, and she is so helpful with the kids. Breezy, I love you.

I was indeed a fabulous weekend! The house is just as noisy as can be....but that's what makes it "home". I love seeing those kids!

I am the worlds slowest reader, so I haven't finished Eat, Pray, Love yet, but so far....what to say? The author is very wise, I like that, she has great insights on life that make you stop and think. Its kind of been fun to "live through her" b/c she just goes where the wind takes her and has no responisibility, etc.! I could definately do without the one cuss word(not the regular cuss words the one I despise, you know which one I mean:), but other than that so far it is a very deep, thought provoking book. What are your thoughts?? I'm curious to hear your opinion...

Isn't family the best! I feel so lucky to have sisters to talk to and it is so cute to see how close you and Heather are! Her kids are dolls!

How fun! I love the cute pictures and posts. Don't you just love cousin visits?! I also love the picture of Travis coloring in the coloring book...classic! I find myself doing the same thing, I also get a little selfish about my pages and don't like my kids to color on them! I love what you wrote!
How is Travis feeling?

I also want to say how beautiful Adysons hair is. Macy use to have long hair and I cut it. I am now having cutters remorse. Have you ever chopped her hair? It's fun until it hits the in between stage! Just a little thought!

I read your comment about Eat Pray Love, so I am only on "Eat" in Italy- we'll see as I go what else I get out of it. I'll let you know when I get done. I haven't read the part yet you talked about, the depression part, I'll see how that goes...

What a cute idea you have had with the tiny moments! Those really are what make life worth living! I have a random question for you. So I tried to change my blog with that info you gave me--spent an hour and ended up with an all black blog---not really sure where I went wrong. Anyway I found a cute blog download that does all the work for me, but erases all of my links in the side bar along with my music. Do you by chance know how to avoid having to retype in all that info or having to redo my songs? If not, no big deal, but you seem to know what you are doing! Your blog is darling!

Wow! You spend a couple days holding a sick kid and end up as comment #22! I feel so left out! Your post was so sweet that I will try and forgive the picture of me! I especially like the one of Trav and Tray, what a sweet friendship they have! Thank you for all the fun times this weekend! I miss you!
