Love Story

So, once again I have been tagged, thanks to my sil Amy. I know, I know, you all know too much about me already, but this tag is a fun one about me and Travis. I have yet to share our story...and believe me...it is a doozy of a story. (Amy did you tag me just because you knew how hard these questions would be for me to answer?)

What is your husbands full name: Travis Larry Kidman
How long have you guys been together: See, its only the second question and I am stumped to find an answer. I'd say maybe 6-7 ish years...
How long did you date: Blah, this tag is getting harder. We didn't really date. You see when we met I had a "missionary" who I was determined to wait for. My second missionary for the record. So Travis wasn't in my plans. We met at work and I tried really hard to set him up with my friend. While totally failing at setting him up with my friend, we started flirting shamelessly for a long time. We would chat for hours after work, and before we knew it we were in love. So we never dated....we did things quite backwards.
How old is he: 32. Old fogey.
Who eats more: He used to but lately, due to his awesome mouth sores and sore throat, it seems to be me. (I don't enjoy it.)
Who said I love you first: Travis I'm sure. Though I'm sure I drug it out of him.
Who is taller: Travis
Who is smarter: Travis. No doubt.
Who does the laundry: Sadly, me.
Who does the dishes: We share this fun task. If I cook a good dinner, he usually cleans up.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed: Travis does, but as soon as he leaves for work I slide into his side.
Who pays the bills: Travis. I am terrible with money.
Who mows the lawn: Travis usually does, but I enjoy it now and then.
Who cooks dinner: Me, I love to cook.
Who drives when you are together: Travis usually drives.
Who is more stubborn: Travis would say me, I say him. Go figure.
Who kissed who first: Travis kissed me first.
Who asked who out first: He kept asking, I kept telling him no. Then one day before ever dating we were in love. If you are wondering...I did wait till my missionary got home, just to be sure (I laugh as I type that because in my heart I was already sure.) Then we got married about 4 months later. 4 crazy months later.
Who proposed: Travis.
Who has more siblings: Travis does.
Who wears the pants in our family: Depends on the day. I do sometimes, he does sometimes. We make it work. (as Tim Gunn would say.)
What have I left out: (I added this question) Well, how about how much I jerked Travis around. Seriously it's amazing the man married me. He must have been able to see how good things could be...if I ever grew up! Oh, and the part where my family knew nothing about him. One day, when I was pretty deep in love, I brought him home to finally meet the rents, my brother and sil, my sister and bil, and all my neices and nephews. No pressure Trav...

I'll admit, our story is not really a fairytale. But it did end up pretty dang happy. Travis, if you are reading this, I love you. I am sorry that I was such a pain in your butt back then. And I am very happy that you will always be my Valentine!

I am tagging...
Heather-because I love you. And think you and Jody have a beautiful marraige.
Amanda-because I remember you and Scott falling in love so well.
Ashley-because you need to blog, even if it is at 2 am with Ayda crying. I love you.
Jill-because I think 3 ICON romances (me, you, and Amanda) will be fun to read about.

That was fun to read! I love how the torment you put Trav through! I knew all along that you would end up with him! I was a fan from day 1.

Thanks for the tag. Yours was fun to read. Do you remember you tried to tell ME to go out with Travis? This is of course during the time you completely liked him (it was obvious)but maybe didn't want to. Or maybe you were trying to test our friendship. Either way, it was never going to happen. What was up with that anyway?

I must give you credit for Scott and me. You are the one that put a bug in my ear for me to "like" him, which got me thinking. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have gone out with him when he asked.
