Just a few Updates

I noticed tonight I haven't written about Travis for a while, and apologize to those of you who check this blog for that purpose, but in this case, no new is good news.

He had a treatment today and is feeling pretty good still. Taking that one week off has made a huge difference in how he feel physically, and emotionally. His throat is only a bit swollen right now and he only has one canker. It has been a very nice 2 weeks of normalcy and we welcomed it! We ate regular people food. We chatted in normal voices, no sore throat whispers. I even put him to work helping me get our bedroom ready to paint. (I really didn't...but I hinted enough :) He's a good man! His doctor agreed to him doing 6 weeks on and one week off today, and I hope that makes life a bit easier for him. It is nice to have a light at the end of the tunnel, even if he only has it for one week.

Sienna is still a pretty sick kid. She has a high fever and still hasn't held anything in. I feel terrible for her, but hopefully tomorrow she will feel better. In the meantime I am having a love affair with my Lysol spray, and just 5 minutes ago folded 5...yes 5 loads of laundry.

As usual, thankyou all so much for you support and prayers. I will be better about updating about Trav, but it has been such a great break not thinking about the cancer all the time! I am constantly thinking of people I still need to send thankyou cards to...I hope I get them written one day!

Thanks for the update! I know we just saw you, but it's nice to hear that he's not always miserable!

I'm glad that he's feeling better. And I'm sorry about the sick kids. I have broncitis and am praying that Halli and Rory don't get it.

Great update, thanks. I think kids should only be allowed to be sick once a year, it's so sad. How sweet is that picture though!

I am glad he is feeling better. Lysol is my best friend too when kids are sick, best thing ever invented. I hope your kids are doing better too.

Those pictures are seriously the cutest things I have ever seen! Your girls look like little angels. I am sorry I missed Bunco...again. I feel like a flake and I don't like it. I will be there next time no matter what. I am glad that your husband is feeling a little better and I hope you little one gets well soon. 5 loads of laundry...ugh.
