For example: In our house laundry is "an issue". Oh yes, I'm a clean freak, I love doing the everyday jobs, but when it comes to laundry I loathe it. And I beg Travis to help me put it all away when it is done (and he is always really helpful). Well tonight we were cleaning up dinner and Travis and I were totally joking about the dreaded laundry. I would beg him to put it away, and he would jokingly say "My rib's broken, I can't..." The girls watched amused.
A few minutes later Travis and I were cleaning up the dishes and I told the girls, "when you get older, make sure you marry someone who treats you as good as daddy treats me."
Adyson's reply? "But mom, dad makes you do the laundry!"
It was quite funny. And if you are wondering, we both put the laundry away together. It's all about compromise. :)
While looking through my pictures doing my last post, I just cracked up. This is what life is like living with our the chicks. Poor, poor Travis. He is very outnumbered!
There is always a little cooking going on! (Thanks Santa for the aprons!)
They help vacuum. Happily. They always look their best! (Um Santa, what in the world were you thinking bringing them make-up??)There is dancing. Oh boy, there is dancing. Seriously, they keep us hopping. They are moody, they are loud, they are crazy. And we wouldn't have it any other way. We do love these girls of ours, and I often wonder how I got so lucky!

I love the pics... that really are so so cute! I bet you love having two girls!
Girls are the best!! Its so fun having girls close together. They feed off each other so much. Your girls are to die for. And its great that even if we are going through a hard time, they can still make us laugh like crazy!!!
I just love reading your blog!
Thanks for the lovely posts. It is good to know that we are in the same boat with laundry and silly girls. I absolutely LOVE the tutu's. Are they the ones you were making???
Isn't nice when they are being so good?? Hope you get feeling better soon!
There is nothing more special than sisters!
How fun are they! You and Travis are lucky! It makes me wonder how my dad survived four girls!!
I hate putting away laundry too. YOur girls are so fun. I love looking at all their cute pictures. I can't believe how big Sienna looks.
I love the ABC idea so fun. I hope your feeling better.
Your girls are so stinking cute. I hope I have as much fun with mine as you do yours. So far so good...
Your girls just bring a smile to my face. They are beautiful! Good compromise, btw.
This is Melissa, not Creighton, but I must say, you really do have the cutest girls! I love your blog! And, I'm with you on the laundry, I absolutely...don't like it haha. I really should compromise, but for now, my wonderful husband does ALL of it! I'm sure once med school hits it will be different, but there can't be enough said for a really good husband :)
Super cute! And yes, your hubby is a good sport...living with 3 girls!
I hope you are feeling better!! It sounds like the flu is going around really bad!! Good thing I went to Bath and Body and stocked up on lots of hand sanitizer (LOL). I agree, I am a clean freak, I drive myself crazy sometimes, but honestly if I could hire someone to take my laundry away and bring it back clean, that would be great :O)
The girls are so cute! I love the dance outfits. You did such an awesome job!!!
Darling!! They are so sweet. We had the flu bug this weekend. I hope you are doing better,it SUCKS!!
You are such a girl mom! Don't you just want a couple more? I really do! I love the pics. and I love that Sienna ALWAYS has a huge smile on her cute face!
Your girls are so cute!! I love the tutu's! I am glad you guys are feeling better!! Hopefully we will see you tonight!!
I completely agree on loathing laundry! Although I hate most other household chores too, laundry makes me crazy. I pretty much lock it in the laundry room as long as possible, or until we run out of underwear. We REALLY need to get Cate and Sienna together soon they seem so alike, and we are outnumbered here! So send her over anytime.
Girls really are so fun! Yours are adorable. I love that they are always having so much fun!
I hope you feel better. Mom's just don't have time for sick days.
Oh, are those the TuTu's that you made? They are adorable!!!
Haha, 'Dad makes you do laundry'... I love it. Your girls are so happy & SO beautiful!!!
Hayley,
Thanks so much for such a great Bunco night. You are an amazing woman and I love you! The food was to die for... I will be checking your recipe blog so I can atempt to make some. P.S. That little Ady and her sea shells.... what a cutie pie. I hope you have a great rest of the week with your hubby home.
Talk to ya later!
Oh yea I haven't forgot about your flower snap.
I know all about single parenting. With Chiki's schedule these days, we see him less then 10 hours a week. So hard :( Happy to hear Travis is back for some assistance. Think of it this way ... we never really appreciate what we have until it is gone. Travis made you fall in love with him all over again!! Your girls are adorable. Sounds like you all still managed to have a good time amongst all of the yawns
