We go to the same park every year. (Cami, Jill...where were you this year?) It is a night when we meet up with neighborhood friends from when I was much younger. People I consider family. We sit in the same spot, and it seems like there is always someone new joining the circle.
For some reason this year I found myself feeling very thankful, maybe even more so than Thanksgiving. I watched the fireworks with my girls and saw the pure awe in their eyes, and felt incredibly thankful for them. I sat next to Trav, and felt blessed that he is who he is. I felt thankful that he is so strong and so humble. And I sat around family and friends, who are always taking care of us and mostly making us laugh. Admittedly, I didn't think as much as I should have about how blessed I am to live in the Country, but I am thankful for that too. The only rotten part about our fireworks experience, is that I forgot my camera. I did take some pics from my mom's camera, and hopefully someday I will figure out how to get them on my computer...
Until then, here are a few pics of the girls all dolled up in their best red, white, and blue gear. I tried really hard to get a great picture of them, but they were much to excited to look at the camera. Oh well, maybe next year.
The rest of the weekend was spent going to the celebration center, where the kids had a go at the Carousel. Swimming, and just being together as a family.
And now the next Holiday is Halloween.

We love the Fourth of July too. My kids think the fireworks are the best. Your kids look adorable!
Hayley,
Tyki is not getting any worse but, not getting any better either. We are crossing our fingers.
Your girls look so cute in their red, white and blue! I am glad you have such a great 4th!
The fireworks are fun, Morgan loves having her birthday on the fourth of July. We eat everything, not just the licorice. Lots of cake too. Your girls are dolls.
I promise I'll get you copies of my pics! I got some cute ones of your girls and a couple of you a Trav. It really was so fun and I agree, it's fun to see our circle get bigger and bigger every year!
what cuties. I had to laugh because I didn't know that everyone bought licorice on the 4th, but coincidentally I had Red Vines and Chocolate licorice in my diaper bag that night, and I
munched on it all throughout the fireworks. How weird!
I love, love, love the fireworks too! I love how you summed it up as a different night with the family! I truly look forward to it every year. Your girls are beautiful in the red white and blue! What dolls! I'll be calling you soon for some hair doin'!
I "Love" the 4th as well, its always so much fun to be surrounded by family. The girls are adorable in their outfits.
Their patriotic pictures are just perfect! And you always decorate them so cute!
I agree, it's such a happy holiday. Just wanted to tell you how cute Ady is in primary. I helped her go potty today, and in the bathroom she just wanted to smile at herself in the mirror in her pretty dress. We started to go back to class and then she said "WAIT, just one more look" and she went back to give herself another smile in the mirror. She truly is a special princess, she makes me smile just watching her!
I feel the exact same as you about the fourth, such a fun day. I also love that you "get" holiday outfits. Totally my favorite part is planning the outfits.
Thanks. The pics are taken in front of a container sitting in the parking lot of the Smithfield Rec Center. Look for it and you'll notice it. It actually says "Uniglory". I just liked the colors!
Your girls are beautiful as ever! Sounds like you had a great time!
We are definately gonna have to be there next year! Your girls look just beautiful!
Your girls are so cute!! The fourth is always a fun holiday!! I love fireworks, and just being warm!! SOunds like you guys had fun!!
I love love love the 4th too!! I enjoyed "decorating" Paige as well!! I think that is the best part of holidays...the cute outfits and bows!! You girlies looked adorable as usual! Hey, I took licorice to the fireworks as well!! So weird. I am glad you are so happy!!
Instead of the fireworks we went camping, the whole Godfrey family. That's why we weren't there. :( We will be there next year for sure. It's a great spot. Halloween is so far away!
Sienna singing is the best! She is a doll.
