{Wrapping up the year, Roo turns 7}

This is what we've been sneaking in during all that fun stuff you've read about
on the
Even with all the absolute craziness,
we've fit a lot in!

Trav brought me this lovely running jacket from Augusta.
I am a fan.
And feel pretty official.
The ladies have been enjoying the sun.
Me too.

And we are wrapping up dance classes for the year.
I love this shot of them doing chores before class.
I love having 2 girls!
We have had a round of the flu.
It lasted forever.
And Roo began soccer.
Look at that sweaty red face!
I took the ladies some Subway to school the other day
to let them know Trav was improving.
I hadn't spent much time with them at t his point,
and it was sheer heaven to get a few minutes with them!

Roo keeps improving in soccer.
Is she the cutest goalie ever?
And speaking of Roo.
She went and turned 7!
Oh man.
This girl,
she is such a beautiful, happy child.
She makes us smile and laugh all day long,
and I cannot imagine life without her!

For her b-day we snuck T out of rehab.
It was joyous!
The whole family together for a full 4 hours!

We ate at the Olive Garden.
Duh!  What else would this noodle lover pick?

And we watched her play some soccer.
It was heaven.
An absolute beautiful moment for us to all sit and be together in the sun.
Roo,
well she was in heaven too.

Roo got a bike from her Grandparents,
and look at that basket my friend made her. So cute!
She also got a scooter from her other Grandparents,
so she is set for playing outside all summer long.

A few days before her B-day,
we decided to throw her a surprise luau party.
I threw it together in one day.
Yes one day.
But thanks to some really great friends,
it came together and she loved it!
Here she is coming in.
Her friends were so excited and she was thrilled.

Siennas bff's mom made her a cake.
I seriously texted her about the party at like 2 on Friday,
and she whipped this up by 2 on Saturday.
AMAZING.
Sienna loved it.

And then we cut into it.
I died a little.
Look at this thing!
We made some pretty cute hibiscus crafts and colored some darling luau girls.

We played hoola hoop races,
raced dressing up like hula girls,
opened gifts,
and ate cake.
It was easy and wonderful.

I love her friends.
They are all just adorable, sweet little girls.
It was such a fun quick party to celebrate our sweet Roo.
We love that kid!

{Rockin' the Halls}

This little lady of mine LOVES to read.
She spends every single night reading in bed
after we tuck her in, and usually she begs for
'just a few more pages...".

Adyson's been working hard to earn
AR points for rewards in school.
She earned lunch with the principal a while back-
(pizza and CANDY!),
and Friday she earned the chance to
ROCK THE HALLS!
Last time they did it she was only 2 points away,
so she was excited!
What is rocking the halls you ask?
It's when the whole school stands in the hall
and cheers as you break the rules and run
through the halls (led by the principal)
to the tune of
"We will Rock you."

Here's a little sideways video for you,
if you care to watch.

Sienna was really excited to be able to
cheer her sister on, and I'm pretty sure
it inspired her to earn those AR points
so she can run through the halls too.
What fun!
We really are so proud of Adyson for
being such a great reader and mostly
for loving it so much.
Adyson's such a smart little lady!

And this portion of the post is dedicated to my sis Heather,
who has been begging to see the girls friends Christmas gifts,
and I've been promising to post them for a good month now.
We love to do a cute gift for the girls friends,
so they can see how good it feels to give.
The problem is that they have quite a few friends..
and it can get pricey. This year we found these
adorable snowman printables here, and opted to
wrap them around 8 oz. jars filled with candy instead
of candy bars or popcorn.
They turned out really cute! The hats are gloves. (One stuffed inside the other).
So...for those of you who have little girls who play with
my little girls...sorry we ruined the surprise!:)

{Why I'm Smiling Today}

Because the sun is shining.
I'm baking my favorite cookies,
while given my own personal concert.

Life is good.
So good.

{The Happiest Place on Earth}

Last week we took a little family vacation to our
favorite
place
ever.
Disneyland!
We love it there, so much,
and it didn't disappoint.

We were able to stay at the
Disneyland Hotel this year,
due to a certain family member who wanted
to spoil us rotten. I can't even tell you
how thankful we were to be there!
We felt very loved and enjoyed every single second.
Align CenterWe rode the monorail into the park on the first day
and headed right to Nemo. The line is usually so long that
we skip it, but we were able to hop right on.
Can you feel how excited the ladies were? The fam.

Roo, making me a little carsick!

Me and T.

Aunt Tiff and the ladies. They had so much fun with her!

Grandma Lorraine, Tiff and Ads,
Grandpa, Devin, and Roo in the back.
It's a small world ;)

We introduced the Kidman clan to our favorite soup. YUM!

Toy Story, always a favorite.

The must have picture in front of the Mickey Flower Garden.

The whole family at Goofy's Kitchen, with our chef-Goofy.

The ladies LOVED Goofy's kitchen, and every 5 minutes a new
star would come to our table to see them.
Snow White loved their Twinkle Toes shoes and
asked if Tinkerbell lived in them. The ladies LOVED It.

Pluto tickling Enna-bug.

Baloo Bear picked Adyson right up and made her dance.
She loved it!

Minnie!

Me and my handsome hubs.
Gosh I love him.

Waiting for Tink.

The bugs life show. Such a great movie!

The fam in front of the castle.

The whole fam, minus Devin who is scared of the camera.

Rapunzel! The girls were smitten by her hair.

The ladies got to sit on the boat at the Storybook ride.
They felt kinda awesome.

The ladies very favorite ride is Big Thunder Mountain.
We went on it daily. I love this shot of T and Devin laughing.
I loved watching the ladies ride this one, doing their best to keep
their arms up the whole time.
They are brave little ladies!

Waiting for the Wonderful World of Color, which was amazing.
Enna got really slap happy. Such a great memory.

We stayed in the Dream Tower of the Disneyland Hotel. Our room was beautiful!
We felt so spoiled and are so thankful to have been able to be there.
It was really, really amazing.

Saying Goodbye to Disneyland by the Giant Mickey.
Till next year!
The ladies dancing with Pluto in Goofy's kitchen. Adorable!

Our room headboard played a lullaby to us each night. It was just so lovely and we all loved it! I want to live in that room...
